i don't think this is about society mainly because of the first few lines: "Boredom's not a burden Anyone should bear" - boredom hasn't got much to do with propaganda "But I would not want you any other way" - who? what i think this is about is addiction, but i don't get why alot of people just say drug/heroin addiction... why not alcohol? and why couldn't it be any other drug than heroin? |

awesome song, can't believe i'm the first one to comment on it. quite different from other cof songs with the raw quitar, but i like it alot :) the lyrics are rather self explanatory i think :P |

the part "Buried inside Where she’s all but mine Save for those that dine Oh her, on her perfect carcass" as well as the way how it's sang makes me think that the narrator killed her in jaleosy and buried her somewhere, but he is still haunted by the idea that whoever it was on the "in the arms of others" part, is still "dining on her carcass" so to speak btw, tilda swinton pulled an amazing performance as gabriel on the recent "constantine" movie ;) |
