I believe that it is about not being totally 100% sure about something, (probably God or a religious belief) so she has not jumped in head first, she doesnt know the right answer, so shes saying you have to stay open minded. (One hand in her pocket, representing how she is confident in her personal belief, but the other one "flicking a cigarette" saying that it could be the other way or the total opposite.) |

I dont know what it means but it sounds awesome when he sings it. He has a good voice but I think the song would sound even more amazing of someone with a little more range sung it, or he put a little more soul into it and really emphasized it. |
