I gotta disagree with plain clothes man about the first album having a cool feelin to it. He sang four songs about the same damn thing, you know, Fixin to die, in my time of dying, bury me by highway 51 and see that my grave is kept clean. Plus he faked his voice throughout. The second Album was waay better. and he only wrote two songs on the first album. |

one of my favorite songs on one of my favorite albums. Medgar Evars was the president of the NAACP when he was assasinated. It was only a few hours before a pawn pulled the trigger on Medgar Evars that President Kennedy delivered an Anti-Racism speech. In that speech, Kennedy Preached that how can our country be a country of freedom and equality if its freedom and equality for everyone, except for the blacks. It's amazing, isn't it? How easy it is, to be selfish, to be evil, to be lazy, to support hatred, to be ignorant. It's much too easy. |

ohh yeah, this is one of those good old traditional songs. one of my personal favorites (as you can see). I'm a bob dylan fan first, but i still like the white stripes version better. Dylan puts this wierd voice in his version, just unnatural. |

i love the white stripes but this song SUCKS! meg just sucks at singing plus this is a stupid song. the song dosent mean shit its just a stupid song thats just meg trying to be in the limlight plus the song just repeats itself, but ill tell ya what though meg is real good lookin and her drum playin complements jacks guitar, i thikn she should just stick with drums and quit singing especially since the words in the songs she does suck |
