I agree completely, drinkliquidclocks. This is a KEVIN DEVINE song. Not a Jesse Lacey song. Anyway, this song is amazing. I adore Kevin Devine and this song live blows my mind. I'm not really sure it has to do with growing up much... Maybe a bit of it. But I sense something a little politically driven. Hence "there's a cotton crush down in the southern states". But of course, that could be just me being a hopeful liberal :p |
