However though, Id much rather believe this song was about singing about his lost lover because she was a cheater cause ti would make this song better in my opinion, rather than singing about himself being a player and screewing himself over. |

Its interesting how everyone says its about relationships which I believe it is also. However as someone mentioned, I believe that this song is quite possibly him talking about HIMSELF. Read it in the perspective of him singing about himself. He was the cheater. He was the one who lost his true love by prob his own cheating. Its telling the girlfriend to take his photo off the wall cause his heart is gone and theres nothing for her to prove and he doesnt deserve her. I dont think people will generally be in a cocky position saying they are a prized possesion because they 'lost what they won', rather in such context it is used to describe what they had, and how the singer describes he had lost what he has won, which is his true love |

This song has got a beat to it except I think the beatles version was the best one. The problem though is that since I know george michael is gay, it somehow makes me think hes singing it for a guy or something... but regardless I think this song is good, especially the beatles version.... i can relate to this song |

This is a really beautiful song. The fact that it was sung by both a male and a female really makes it work all the better. Its about true love of two lovers declaring their love for one another without taking their lover for granted. Its about treasuring each moment of their lives together as each other thinks that they are better than they deserve and for that reason they treasure each other a lot in light of this, afriad to lose each other. The song is so beautiful that it was sung by both male and the female counterpart, as it is like both of them declaring their equally strong love for each other.
