this song IS emotional hardcore... Like... the embodiment. It's probably become one of my favorite songs of all time. It makes my entire body tingle EVERY single time as it works up to the crescendo... particularly the second and final one. It's just amazing. As I read the lyrics here too, it made it even more pronounced. Indian summer is THE shit. And yeah, while emotional hardcore started in the 80's with bands like Rites of Spring, a LOT of bands with this sound were showing up in the 90's... In fact, there's still shitloads today. |

One of my favorite songs by Pg.99.. among many really. It's pretty intense... and creepy to say the least. Pretty cool interpretations you guys have come up with though. And that whole thing about the passage is awesome. I had a feeling it was a direct quote from something, but didn't realize it was a direct passage from a "real" account... If that DVD really does come out next month, I'm going to die in a happy living sort of way. Can't wait for that shit. |
