I first heard this song around June of 04, and it made so much sense to me. I was going through a very rough and very lonely phase. I was facing impending unemployment, and homlessness. A month later, i was given a 4 week old cat named Tank (cus he never stopped eating). Well tank was a stupid character from a stupid movie, (The Matrix).. so I renamed him Virtue. Virtue is a little over a year old now, and he really did bring balance to my life. I truly had nobody (I'm an orphan), and now I have him. (Things have since gotten much better 4 me, not necessarily due to him, but just etter in general) |

I think this song is about the Get Up Kids harsh (but since patched)relationship with The Anniversary, a since broken up band. The timing of this song coincides with Vagrant booting The Anniversary for being "too big for their briches." They milked the 'fame' for every cent it was worth and in the end it bit them in the butt. |
