Looking at a few of the things I've seen people on this site say about APC songs, I think people are reading too far into these things. While it is certainly possible that there is a deeper meaning to this song, it could just be what's on the surface: A person is braindead that whomever's POV the song is from doesn't want to accept it. Alot of what I see in APC and Tool's music makes me think of John Lennon (and no, that's not because of the "Imagine" cover). The songs are very upfront and are lacking in the need for a deeper meaning. Lennon was very much the same way, his songs were no more or less then what they were and had to be taken for face value or you miss the what he's saying. |
