here's what i get from it: there's this girl, and he's so drawn to her, but she's toxic. she's not really doing anything good for him, and he doesn't understand her. yet, he can't pull himself from her grasp. he knows he could be so much stronger ("prize fighter"), but he's already so gone on her, it doesn't matter. his strength is just a memory ("now we speak rememberese")... and the killer bees? just a metaphor for bad shit in his life now that he's so sucked into her... |

i find this song so relatable right now. to me, it's about getting yourself into this relationship when you really had no intention of it. in the beginning you weren't ready for one at all, but your feelings just kind of snuck up on you, and now you hope you haven't blown it, and you're finally acknowledging your feelings. |

this song almost makes me cry every time i hear it. i think it's a song which everyone can relate to-- a love lost or a friendship lost, and you are uncertain of what the reason for the loss even is. however, all you can do is understand that you did everything you could. what's meant to be will be. |

Yes, this is obviously a song about long distance relationships. But also one about falling too fast, when everyone's telling you not to, and you're not even sure yourself.
