OKAY, I didnt read all the post so If this was already said..sry.... but really this is what the song is about..lol... If you watch the video it makes sense cause it's about the older lady who is living w. her husband but really doesn't want to but she is stuck staying anyway and the guy in Maroon 5.. dunno his name, lol, is singing to her cause he wants to be w/ her cause he WILL love her unlike the man she is with right now... so that means that when she was 18 she got into this relationship because she wasn't happy w/ herself and he was always there but she loved someone else the whole time... her husband was just an escape from w/e else in her life... yeah I am crazy kinda I know, lol... but pros. idea kinda fits also but I never looked at it from that point of view... maybe i will...lol |
