This song reminds me of obsession/ rape: "Relax...it's over, you belong to me, I fill your mouth with dirt" Sounds like he's in controle and NEEDS to be in controle. "Relax...it's over, you can never leave I take your second digit with me... Love..." He's going to keep her and not let her leave. "You are...my first, I can barely breath" This is the 1st time he has done this (keeping someone there with his obsession) "I find you fascinating You are...my favorite," Again the obsession, and watching of her. "lay you down to sleep It's all that I can do to stop...Love..." Sleeping is her only excape from everything going on while she is awake. Be it sleep as in actually sleeping, or passing out. "So blue...so broken," She's depressed, with a broken spirit. "paper doll decays" She's dieing from all this "I haven't left you yet" Neither of them are yet dead, and he still won't let her go. "So cold...subversive, your eyes are full of bleach" Sounds like this is the point where she did die, and he still wouldn't let her go. "Tomorrow, I will go away again...Love..." He will either leave her dead there or he's going to kill himself because she is dead. My mind can never seem to choose one of the two. "YOU ARE MINE, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MINE," Although she is dead he will keep his power over her. "I CAN TEAR YOU APART I CAN RECOMBINE YOU ALL I WANT IS TO COVET YOU ALL YOU BELONG TO ME" Once again the complete power he has over her. "I WILL KILL YOU TO LOVE YOU.(LOVE)" If she wants to leave he will kill her himself. I may be trying to make something from nothing or I may have just tuched the surfice of the meaning (if there is one). This song sends chills through me every time I listen to it. -Stephanie |

What the hell don't got nothing to lose doing this. After 6 months I shale answer vampirella666's question: Why is it that SLipknot gets so many hate messages on here? Because people feel the need to type out about how much they hate/ like things and this is a good place for that. Why does everyone assume people who listen to Slipknot are depressed? Because people think that anyone that likes Slipknot is "Goth" (I've been being called that for years and still can't find anyone that can tell me what it means) Why are there so many fucked up stereotypes? Because people are stupid. Look at Grand Theft Auto: SA. Look at all the black sterotypes there. Seriously...who goes to a site for song meanings and then says the band is shit...it's not really about how good the band is.."song meanings" Get it?
