ok here I am again.. this song is definitely about a "love triangle"...being the last resort in the triangle...he is realizing this girl only comes to him when she's hurt, and he feels like he's putting so much into showing he cares for her, but she only does it temporarily, and knowing she has a boyfriend, she tells him it's not right...but still leads him on...he feels so strongly for her and wants to love her, but she just won't return the feelings whole-heartedly |

As a friend of a member of Emery, here is my take on this song. It's all about memories, memories of a relationship that had poor communication, but still holding the desire to make it work. However, also knowing that sometimes, it doesn't take words to express yourself. Sometimes you just see the look on someone's face and know what they're feeling and thinking. Yes there's more to it on a personal lever for Toby..but I'm leaving it at that. |
