Aesop Rock – The Yes And The Y'all Lyrics 18 years ago
I think this song is about rapping, the music industry, and all of the bullshit that surrounds it. I'm not sure though as the song gets a bit fuzzy at times but that meaning seems to fit with most of what I can understand. It definitely matches the chorus.

Ratman has got it as far as the Muchausen. The lyrics here seem to be a bit off most of the time.

Aesop is just Jewish as I recall, but in the LSD song he references seeing "Aes with a Jigsaw face" or something similar to that. It could be a way of saying he is complex and hard to piece together (especially lyrically), or it could be a reference to the Saw movie series. I read an interview where he said a lot of his songs are just references to movies he's seen. That was from back in '01 though so things may have changed since then.

Also, I think it should read, "The Falcon hates the Mockingbird, the farmer hates the plow." I'm not positive on this one as the sound seems to get a bit lost behind the beat.

The White Stripes – I'm Finding It Harder To Be A Gentleman Lyrics 20 years ago
This song is the story about a guy who was once in a good relationship with a girl. He is feeling detached from her mainly because she is needy and wants him to show his devotion constantly through little things (a common road block in relationships). He gets tired of her and drops her in the mud when she pushed him too far.

I feel like this is a stretch but the mud could be a metaphor for the rough spot in their relationship that he was trying to navigate through until he gave up and suddenly broke up with her. The mud on his shoe indicates that he felt some remorse for breaking up with her.
