yeah, i didn't like this at all first. you know, being accustomed to Crafter's voice and all. but yeah, after sitting down to listen to this, i've found a liking for it afterall. it's not a half bad album, but it's grown tiring. |

so this is how i interperet it: it is about a guy (possibly Jeff) who is really close to one of his friends who happens to be female. he would love to be with her as he illustrates with the lyrics "how i want to say kiss me, you don't want to ruin anything" but she falls for someone else (who is possibly undeserving) "cursed with never being seen in your dreams", "i'll walk around dead to you" describes that she practically doesn't talk to him anymore and must be involved quite deeply with her new friend (who may now be her boyfriend). and that "i'll lie around dead me" shows that it's gotten him down, he's 'dead' so to speak; feels dead, doesn't want to do anything, etc. he thinks that she will miss his friendship when her boyfriend is gone and she needs someone to talk to ("i feel soon you'll wake with imaginary dreams, and wanting to hold onto this memory). "always wondering who's coming to save, who's saving me" is just like a plea for help to get him out of his depression and current state. "open everything around so all can see how fast you waved goodbye" is pretty self explanatory, he just wants others to see how little he meant to her, how she doesn't care about him and how it was so easy for her to say goodbye to him but he finds it far more difficult. Poison the Well have such impowering lyrics, i love it. I can relate to this song now, and i remember relating to it so many times before. |

you are all imbosiles. this is how it is written in the lyric booklet, and if you don't know that already means you have not bought the album and are just dowloading there shit, which is fine but don't criticise a person who actually went and spent hard earned cash on something worth while working for. so shut the fuck up! |
