has anyone entertained the possibility that this is just a bitter love song about a relationship gone wrong. with the whole toast thing, it sounds like he's giving a speech at the wedding of a former lover and now he and their relationship and the chances of him ever being with her are uhh dead. |

i think this song is definantly about a girl he once loved who ODs on drugs. i think the irony hes trying to find in the beginning is that they were spreading her ashes and he was getting baked and thats basically cremation. that might be a stretch. |

people, your drug addiction theories...Isaac has and continues to do mind expanding drugs..not heroin or anything relatively serious. i'm thinking this is just part of the whole concept idea of a man's trip to hell and back. the two hands shaking on the cover could be the "deal" between the main character of the story and satan, or what have you. i honestly don't think anyone is right, and our hopes of finding out the truth are slim to none since brock never does interviews and when he does, he fucks around during them, i.e. MTV interview where he interviewed...himself. chow. |
