i think it is about how they say that everytime someone dies, a baby is born (which we know is not true or there would be a finite number of people on the earth at any given time) but like in the 1st verse a baby is born and in the second an "old mother dies" and the "Confusion sets in" from the 1st ver. and the "confusion that was hers belongs now to the baby down that hall" tie into each other. like a baby being born and a mother dieing in the same hospital at the same time

I used to not like this song because I only really listened to the first verse and the chorus. I thought that only the fisrt verse was about the girl and the baby..like you know some songs go from scene to scene in different verses...anyway I was mad bacause I thought that maybe some kid would be depressed and listen to this song and it would re-enforce their feelings of worthlessness. Don't get me wrong, I loooooooove Nickelback. But now that I have taken the time to listen to the whole song and realize that the whole thing is about the one incident, it's growing on me. And I agree...WHAT A FUCKING BITCH! (sigh) I feel better now. |

I meant I disagree with zeve.....anyway. I don't care how many times it's been "confirmed" Maybe in his song he was referring to his bus, but in general, a steel horse is definately a bike. |
