To be specific, it's about a girl who, in secret, makes songs by herself as a solo artist called Indie Cindy and the Lo-Fi Lullabies. There's enough inspiration in her to take creative initiative, but she has anxieties and fears that no one will like her music. So she never releases any of it or performs for anyone. Eventually she has a nightmare about a show going badly-- and that's enough to make her give up music altogether. Poor Cindy. She's an archetype of several people I know who are too self-conscious about their art to show it and let it develop. |

This is based on a quote that Crow said on my favorite show, Mystery Science Theater 3000: "Put a drop of vanilla behind each ear and you'll smell like a cookie all day."
I loved the quote so much that I decided to make it into an overblown song about how it's the ultimate advice to all of life's woes. |
