hmm well my thoughts on AVA: they are great, really great but sorry tom, i do not believe they are "change the world" great. i thought it was a bit stupid of tom to talk so much about how uplifting AvA would be, that he wants the songs to accentuate to heaven or something along those lines..he made me expect a little TOO much, and make everyone have high expectations. don't get me wrong, tom is one of my heros! They are a lot like i thought they would be... extremely different from blink. When I now look back on blink it seemsso long ago, plus overly imature, but i still love listening to blinks tunes. what's others fav songs off the album? arr angels and airwaves BETTER come to downunder!!! |

ok well... 1. AVA ARE NOT MEANT TO SOUND LIKE BLINK!!!!! 2. THIS IS NOT ROCK N ROLL 3.NOT EMO 4.THE ALBUM WAS NOT CALLED"we don't hear u whisper" TO ANNOY MARK..THAT WOULD BE IMMATURE..and STUPID 5.DON'T LABEL MUSIC kk i'm done love this song..the lyrics are the best part.. i used to be a massive blink fan, but i think the only reason HEAPS of ppl liked them was for the fact that they were always seen having fun, fooling around; how teenagers are MEANT to be..they sang about issues to teenagers **not major issues..well not many** and their music was "fun".. wasn't deep and meaningful.. so now since i have gotten into AVA, and other bands like this, i look bak and think blink were..i dunno...childish...they were carefree alright, but their music was nothing REALLy special... but i do still love blink..forever will..their songs put me in a happy "i don't care" mood but we needed change ok, i really AM done now |

i ADORE this song..it has to be my FAVOURITE song ... i can relate to it.. its pretty hard to explain, i think it's something like chasing rainbows..u neva find the end of the rainbow, the pot of gold...or mayb u keep chasing an impossible dream!! i also believe that his sayin that she puts everyone before herself (which can b bad) and that she is TOO nice, she needs to take a stand and not always do everything to please others! she has to learn to say no!! the other factor of the song is that she believes people are too kind, and trusts everyone..she needs to realise there are bad ppl in the world..i dunno...im stupid at explaining things **so y the hell am i on songMEANINGS ur probably wondering** well i found sumone i agree with...sKemo Kid said the song means: "stop trusting every one and comparing putting all ur trust in some one to trying to find the end of a rainbow--eg and impossible task" |
