i love this song. and the death cab for cutie version. but anyway. i reckon that the line after 'youre doors are shut' is in icelandic, which would make sense seeing as the death cab for cutie version says 'in any language' - can you see the connection? i dont speak icelandic, but im willing to bet that if that line that bjork sings isnt gibberish then it would translate to 'in any language'... proving her point majestically - that no matter who you are or what you think or what you look like or what language you speak, love is all around you, in everything you experience and see and hear. well thats what i think anyway. |
