I think sometimes in a great while there are songs out there that will get inside your head, make it's way to your heart.. then break it. This song has haunted me for a long time. Just a gorgeous piece of work. I'm Glad "1hottexan" commented on what it's about, and the story seems very plausible. I remember when Pat played in my friends' back yard, believe it or not; but "all the good things fade away" he's famous and now the rest of the country gets to share in a truly remarkable Texan. I wish I knew what this meantto be honest, all I have to say though is if you haven't heard it, get yourself a copy of Live at Billy Bobs' Pat green. Great song, well written.... |
