Coheed and Cambria – Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial) Lyrics 20 years ago
so as far as my interpretation of the lyrics go... im still pretty unsure in my assumptions. initially thought it was about claudio and newo but now that ive thought it over im not so sure thats whats being described here.

my best guess is that its about a conflict between claudio and anbelina. ive formulated this theory through a few deductions and things i know to be accepted as truth. ok so follow me here.

anbelina was once a prise but was sent to help guide and protect claudio.

but since she is a prise (or was) she is operating on the prise's agenda. which is to end all humanity because they believe humans have grown too arrogant and dont show the proper reverance to "god" and they know that claudio is capable of doing just that.
"Believe her, you'll leave her
You're leaving more"
"(ten speed if im lost then im lost)"

also later on in the album claudio sets fire to star four (the prise's home) hence the title of both the song and album. so before that happens anbelina and claudio must have some sort of falling out in which claudio refuses her guidance because if she was still guiding him in the way the prise intended i dont think she would have allowed him to set fire to her home.

so thats the bulk of my idea. i might be completely off but hey lack of sleep and listening to the same album consistantly can make you think up some pretty strange things

Coheed and Cambria – Apollo I: The Writing Writer Lyrics 20 years ago
so yeah these lyrics sound like theyre right to me

i cant really deduce what they mean yet eventhough it sounds as though its written from the writers point of view so maybe it can shed some light on the whole "whos the writer and why is he so important?" mystery.

Coheed and Cambria – The Suffering Lyrics 20 years ago
wow
it really boggles my mind how people can hear these ridiculous lyrics.

"i wouldve figured you out before the gear topped out"? ok maybe you can confuse gear with year but the next word sounds absolutely nothing like topped. its clocked, thats just what hes saying i dont see how anyone can confuse it with anything else. i mean "year clocked out" just makes sense.

also, how the hell are you supposed to inhale a bluff. id think that anyone with any kind of common sense would plainly hear inhaled and air and automatically think breath.

claudio writes some weird lyrics but he doesnt just pull random words out of his ass. please if your not completely confident that your lyrics are accurate DONT POST THEM because anyone elses best guess on what hes singing is just as good as yours. theres already enough confusion and speculation going on with what the lyrics actually mean. i find it kinda pointless to try to interpret the wrong lyrics.

so yeah sorry about the rant. but just to clear this up. thecrowing007's lyrics are completely accurate. word for word. without a doubt. i challenge anyone to disagree just so i can see what kind of irrational, illogical bullshit someone comes up with just for the sake of arguing.

Coheed and Cambria – Welcome Home Lyrics 20 years ago
So ive had the new album for about 2 weeks now. I got a leaked copy from a friend. (dont crucify me im definetly going to buy it when it comes out. im just impatient.)

so ive gone through all of the songs pretty throughly and this one seems to be the most simple to decipher. most of the willing well is pretty out there. I think the video makes it pretty obvious that the lyrics depict a conflict between claudio and newo after claudio comes back to witness her being unfaithfull, (my best assumption is that it is with al the killer) hence the title "Welcome Home." there are later references to newo being in the ground which leaves little question in my mind that newo is involved.
"im not gonna hold your hand here again newo"
"you'l burn in hell while they're digging you out"

so yeah, the exact details of how he handles newo's infidelity escapes me. i dont know if he imprisoned her underground, or actually buried her or what. i dunno but it looks like the sinstar is starting to come through pretty strongly now. claudio reminds me somewhat of an arrogant anakin skywalker now that he has realized all that hes capable of.
"hang onto the glory at my right hand."

so thats the best explaination i can give. the jesus played letter thing makes absolutely no sense to me though. maybe its cause claudio is supposed to be a christ-like figure? whatever

i hope this helps. if theres anyone who disagrees with me id love to see your views on it so go ahead and post.
