Christianity says Jesus was sacrificed for man's sins. A sacrifice for a new begining. I think the song dipicts how man still sins against man, hence "the world don't want to be saved" verse. Very deep song which to me is describing how man continues to defy God. |

Maybe not rape, just my opinion, but about a guy who didn't own up to his responsibilty leaving the mother alone to raise a child by herself thus leaving many questions to be answered by a child growing up and even into adulthood. I think the song further implies that the mother accepts her "burden" and does not resent or regret this child. I think this song is one of their most soulfull songs with a great solo by Jerry. |

I'm here because of a couple of Disturbed songs and AIC's "Get Born Again". It seems somewhat of a re-occuring theme and is somewhat ambiguous left to many different interpretations. I was just wondering what other people thought of this song and it's religious reference. These artists are amazing thinkers and lyricists, not to mention great musicians. |
