| I agree with Down in a Whole, and pilgrim 118, pretty much all a yas, to me the first quote starts out remembering things his ex has said to him, The second quote is when she started changing and she's trying to be a new person; but she is still the only one he thinks about. the third and fourth quote are like an argument, the "we never talk" is her talking to him and misses him, but he's just frustrated she talks to him like that beacause she's the one who left, so she should know why they dont talk much. she then goes "well woe is me" as a comeback almost saying "sorry im not perfect". the "how different part" is she's realizing she's not the same person, but he tells her "well no one really cares" almost like revenge for her hurtin him earlier. my Favorite part of the song is the "And you were right!" part, and i totally agree with Kenny316 on this part, He did give her his heart and she felt nothing back, couldnt of said it better myself man. and Evans Blue ended it perfectly with him letting her go, "goodbye my soul unquote" | |

Oh man i can just sit and listen to the music and it just feels like what would be happening when Jesus comes back! there will be a soft but booming voice speaking in a language we dont understand, and with the translation being told to a crowd and hearing their crys back.. oh its amazing! i konw its the end times and i feel that Underoath put this stuff on their cd just for that reason.. -but hey, thats just me and my crazzy mind going at it.. i love how most all of their new stuff has a lot of Christian stuff in it! its just crammed full of it. i dont think it could get much better!! |

I love this song!! it really hits me when Jason says "when i hear your name, its not the same!" this is by far the best or second best song on the CD 2nd only to 'Everything you ever wanted' but i dont quite understand what he means with "And we started at zero, and went different ways Now we're all out here wasting away And if we started at zero, then how did things change? It seems like just yesterday we were the same" well at least the first part, i know what it means but i cant get ahold of it, someone please explain it to me!!! thanks.. |

i can see what you guys think, and it sounds good but i just gotta say.. to me, this song means something like(chorus at least): a guy is in love with this girl, and she breaks up with him out of the blue, and he's just saying to her that he may never know why she left him and stuff (this is gunna be a long one)theres a quote "when you and i met, the angles said 'Perfect' " the part about the angles crying is that when she left even the angles didnt think that was gunna happen to their perfect couple. . .i duno, maybe im just insane from my relationship right now. . . i just like how he is being open to take her back, even if its not in a relationship, cuz in the end, she really did affect him more than he initially thought does anyone understand me out there??? thats it for ya :-P |

| i love this song! , to me this song is about a girlfriend, that leaves him, at night kinda "then i woke up to no one, just a picture of Jesus", being a christian, and HN being a christain band i think that this means no matter what happens to you in life, Jesus will always be there for you. . also he is just saying how he tried to be her everything and she just up and left him.. so he just wishes he could go back to when they were happy together... .. i got more to say but i cant put it into words lol anyways thats it :-P , nice job w/ the lyrics guys! | |
