This song is completely unfair. "Her best days will be some of my worst She finally met a man thats gonna put her first While I'm wide awake she's no trouble sleeping." He sings about his broken heart and acts as if he is the victim...when he openly admits that he NEVER PUT HER FIRST. The girl that he sings about realized that she deserved more than he wanted to give her, so good for her. She found someone that could treat her better than he did. She shouldn't be interpreted as the bad guy, just because he's the one singing about the broken heart. Good song though. |

It's about a guy who has tried to keep religion away from himself, perhaps out of fear.
