I definatly think that it is about the dark side of the music industry, and although I am the first one to say that not all Courtney's songs are about Kurt; I always thought that when she says 'Where's your daddy gone, it's so awful' she was talking about the effect of Kurt's death on Frances.

I agree that there are some dark undertones to this song, which might be about rape, but I think it might be about how the media treated Kurt and 'tore the petals' off of him and in a way she blames the media attention for leading him to suicide. And I also think that the bit about innocence is about Frances and how she worries that the media will do the same things to her that they did to Kurt. Especially the 'She's too pure for the likes of this world, this world is a whore.' I really love this song.

I love this song, I also think that it is about Kurt, however I don't like that it's 'I love him so much, it just turns to hate'. I've listened to it really carefully and I think it is 'I love him so much it just turns to haze', which would fit in with how Courtney feels about Kurt being dead. What do you think?
