| 30 Seconds to Mars – Buddha For Mary Lyrics | 19 years ago |

i think this song is about religion straight up, and how it's not what it used 2 b "He said, "Can you here me, are you sleeping?" She said, "Will you rape me now?" He said, "Leave the politics to mad men" She said, "I believe your lies" He said, "There's a paradice beneath me" She said, "Am I supposed to bleed?" He said, "You'd better pray to Jesus" She said, "I don’t believe in God" this is the essence of the song really, buddah being eastern religions, and mary being western religions, when he ask can u hear me are you sleeping, that's like the eastern religions kind of joking on how christianity is going down hill, and when she says will you rape me now, thats western religions morals, how we accept pre marital sex as ok in modern society, when he says leave the politics to mad men, thats how level headed the eastern religions r, they worry just about their religion and don't let politics in2 the church, when she says i believe your lies, thats like when the parish TRIES 2 turn it's head to things that aren't right with the church, when he says there's a paridise beneath me, that shows that they believe christianity CAN b a good religion, but just needs to fix itself, "am i supposed to bleed?" is saying how we do things without KNOWING the consequnces and our blind faith (yes i know that what nearly ALL religions rely on) and finally, " you better pray to jesus" "i don't believe in god" thats shows how christianity has lost it's way, and how most people say things and do things, but don't always have faith in what they do (this doesn't go for every1, but just the majority of people, i know that religion is still alive and well, but it is slowly losing it's power and meaning to the masses) |

| Breaking Benjamin – Dance With The Devil Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i know this is not right, but i honestly think this song would go freaking perfect to that last fight in the X-MEN: THE LAST STAND movie, i mean basically they KNOW that the fight is dangerous (dancing with the devil) and that some of them might not make it back, just listen to the chorus and picture the every fight scene in the movie, including the DANGER ROOM simulation | |

i believe that this is about a relationship but the guy KNOWS that he's bad for the girl and he doesn't want to hurt her. "I see nothing in your eyes, and the more i see the less i like" that simply means that he can see in his own eyes that he's not right for her "i kow nothing of your kind, and i won't reveal your evil mind" that means that he's not as nice of a person as she is and he doesn't want to corrupt her and make her evil "So sacrifice yourself And let me have what's left I know that I can find The fire in your eyes I'm going all the way Get away please" here he is asking her 2 let him do what he needs to do 2 save her, that she needs to not like him anymore "I'm waiting I'm fading Realize Start hating" he's waiting for her 2 forget him and start hating him "You take the breath right out of me And left a hole where my heart should be You gotta fight just to make it through 'Cause I will be the death of you" he loves her with all of his heart and knows that he's bad for her and that when she finally gets through the pain of him breaking up with her, it will b ok |
