yeah i dont really think its about his father . . . heres my break down of the song... as i listen to this song . . . it brings back so many memories of my first and only love . . . he used to sing this to me all the time. and i never knew how much it really meant to me until about 6 months after we broke up . . . it started coming on the radio all the time, and it made me realize that i truly did love him, no matter what and i always will . . . to me this song is about this guy and this girl and the guy really loves the girl and he wants her to love him, but hes afraid if he tells her about the real him then she'll get scared and leave him . . . nobody understands him, but her wants her to, bc he loves her so much all i have to say to my ex is that i know who you truly are and i STILL love you |
