I really like this song, it's not so much about the love song part, but it does make me smile, because it's a little strange, but sweet. Like "I read bad poetry into yur machine," and "I count your eyelashes secretly." They make me laugh, just because they're very honest but a little crazy. And yes! The bells sound rather Christmassy. |

This song reminds me a lot of propaganda. Just a lot of references. I also really love the third stanza. Just all of it, from the illness reference to the end of it, I don't know. it just all flows together in the music. |

Okay, this is probably not what the song was written for. Haha. Most likely. But, I was thinking, you know Remember The Titans? Well, here's a strange idea. Gerry and Julius (forgive me if I spell things wrong.) had their big controversial friendship, and Julius' nickname for Gerry was Superman. and Gerry died earlier than the rest of them. And the rest of the lyrics make sense with it too. Just watch the movie and think about it. It's kind of cool. |
