I love MCR and I'm not going to stop just because they're on MTV. Why put so much effort and feeling into getting a message out there if no one's gonna hear it. I think these lyrics are about the fact that no matter what he writes some 100+ other people have written a song about the exact same thing. Also that they are classed in one genre and no one really listens because they think it's all the same even if they do write something incredible so sometimes isn't it easier to just not bother. I know I kind of contradicted myself but it works in my head. |

I think this song is about being insecure after being rejected and trying to convince yourself that your worth loving. But I also feel that it's about the masks people make to hide their insecurities. |
