Pixies – Ain't That Pretty At All (Warren Zevon cover) Lyrics 20 years ago
This is the newest song by the Pixies, though it's not really a remake, Charles really refuses to remake a song. When Frank sings, he makes up the words as he goes, and Kim made up some of her own. When Frank makes up his own lyrics randomly, you can here Kim's chuckles of laughter in the background. The song was "Pixized" and it now has the sound of the Pixies, you shan't be disappointed with this one.

Pixies – Gigantic Lyrics 20 years ago
This song is beautiful to me, and when I first heard that it was about Kim Deal singing about an African-American man with a "gigantic" penis it really tainted it to me. So I decided I'd take my favourite song and analyze it. To me it seems if your one of the people who think how I described above you are completely insane. I can't understand how you could come up with some sort of asumption. The lyrics above are wrong and I'd like to have them fixed. I can't quite explain who "Paul" is, but the song does seem to be about a lover of hers who she has to see in secret. Hence the "alley-way" discription of the song.

Kim sings as if she is a helpless romantic, "and this I know, his teeth as white as snow, what a gas it was to see him." When a woman thinks that, her heart stops. "He'd walk her every day, into a shady place." To me, this part proves that Kim does have a lover named Paul, whom they have to meet secretly, "in a shady place." A place that is out of the way and that is softly discreet. "Hey Paul, hey Paul, hey Paul, let's have a ball." This indicates that she wants to be swept off of her feet and taken away with Paul to have the utmost pleasure. "What a big black mess, what a hunk of love." The lyrics above say, "mask," but that is not what it says on the Pixies own website, so I seem to belive the Pixies themself. Anyway, "big black mess." Kim sounds like she's met a crossroads. Left or right, Paul or her husband. "What a hunk of love." This man sounds like he gives her all she wants and more, just as every woman deserves.

Well this is how I believe the song goes. I take English Language/Literature Composition AP, and I do stuff like this all of the time with analyzing songs, so this is how I believe it goes. To each is own as my grandmother always says. And for this song and the Pixies, I la la love them, for them I have a gigantic, gigantic, gigantic... bah what the hell. A big big love.
