Listen to "Is this it", that has the coolest bass line i have ever heard. And Razor Blade. The bass in that is nuts too. Really cool. Isn't it weird how no one ever talks about the actual meaning of the song...? |

| I would agree that this song is aimed at what the media makes up about people, certainly on behalf of himself, but also others suffering, what they do. But when he says "I guess i chose to" it refers to the fact that he choose this life maybe? When he says "Hope I teach my son how to be a man Now before he hits 35" it possibly refering to what the media says about him being gay or what not, which is supposedly a result of him not being masculine enough, so if he shows his son how to be a man he wont be gay, hence "Hope I teach my son how to be a man" i dunno im probably wrong. | |

I agree with Heart Breaker to an extent, although you have to take into concideration the fact that it seems in this case the roles are reversed, as in the Jimi Hendrix song "Hey Joe" (Great Song) Koe is the one who is killed his girl friend, which can be show with the line "'Hey Joe i heard you shot your woman down' then 'yes i did i shot her you know i heard she was messing around.... etc" In the kings of leon song it seem that joe is being killed by another man whome Joe is sleeping with. I don't exactly know what to make of this but... meh ill get back to you all. Anyone feel free to contridict me or finish my arguement for me. Tschüs |
