ok i think this song is about suicide. the takeover the sweeping insensitivity of this still life when they say "of this still life" its basically the end of it all..like the life is dead..and the "sweeping insensitivity" is from whoever caused this suicide at the beginning of the song theyre talking about old memories with this love and how its all gone now and theyre pretty much saying that they would rather be dead than without this person but yea..sucide as a result of betrayl..thats my opinion |

ok so in my opinion this song is about a guy who is in a relationship with someone he really loves but clearly she doesnt love him the same way but rather only wants him for the pysical aspect of their relationship. he decides to go along with it because not only are all his friends having sex and whatnot for fun, but he really loves this girl and doesn't wanna loose her. It shows that hes been hurt so many times before that he doesnt have the confidence or poswer to just say no to her: He whispers that he loves her, but she's probably only looking for... this song is amazing..really emotional i love it |

k first off im in love with this song and i think its about either drugs or the whole idea of being on top of everything, how we all strive so hard to be the best, to be perfect just to reach that inevitable 'fall' where we loose everything..because like someone said before..you can never begin with nothing..u can only have nothing by losing everything..and that could be where the adoption or drugs ties in ahh wow this is confusing. this song can really be about anything of that sort but i think thats what makes it so fucking amazing..it leaves you thinking..its so filled with emotion that you cant NOT love it..even if you don't know exactly what its about |

k i just wanna say that the used is the absolute best band on this earth. this song is amazing..i fall in love with it all over again every single time i listen to it.. i didnt even realize that it was from bert to quinn until after i had listened to it for a while..now i love it even more..it just means so much and its so powerful yet the sweetest thing at the same time a fucking masterpiece:) &done. |

To me, this song seems to be about Love and i know its been said that it was by Bert to Quin; friendship related. However, the lines "i should've done something, but i've done it enough by the way, your hands were shaking i'd rather waste some time with you".. can relate to that awkward stage in a relationship, when your SO into the person but its deciding who is going to make the first move and you want to so badly, to either make a move or say something interesting, flirty but you dont- maybe because your too nervous or scared.. and thats okay because just being there is having such a major effect on that person |

i heard this song from my cousin a while ago and it means soo much to me. every single time i listen to it the lyrics have a different meaning. in general tho i think that this song represents two people who love each other so much deep down but are afraid to express themselves because theyre families are close((or even related)) hence not having room to live. they feel as tho everyone is watching them do something theyre not supposed to be doing. also when they say something about spelling confusion with a K- means that he doesnt kno if he loves her, or if hes allowed to love her and the part where she walks down the stairs they both have a moment and he cant kiss but all he can do is touch her hair without feeling guilty. wow i love this song soo much. its friggen amazing. |
