If you ask me the vampire is saying "you loved me before i was a vampire and i still love you so why dont you feel the same?" kind of thing. I guess if vampires was a metaphor you could go on to say he is saying i'm a rockstar but i'm still the same guy on the inside. |

I have skimmed over the responses and (sorry if someone has said this) no one addresses th part "And as these days watch over time, and as these days watch over time And as these days watch over us tonight" I think that is saying, the new day lingers around the corner, almost taunting them, as if to say, your safe for now but the battle goes on. This works for whatever your interpretation of the song is (ie. Vampire Fantasy, Love story, Society) |
