James Blunt – Carry You Home Lyrics 17 years ago
This song, reminded me so much of my mom. When I sat and actually listened to the words; I cried. alot. She was a strong woman, the strongest I've known, and when she died; I just saw it; saw her heart stop. And her mom; my grandma collapsed. She was so strong, and to see her die from cancer killed us, and when I heard this song; I fell apart. I think it's about loss and salvation.

i agree, its about death; probably drug abuse, people who have died or are dying from it, and telling this person basically to save himself while he still can

Avenged Sevenfold – Almost Easy Lyrics 18 years ago
ok, anyone who has a problem with this song or says its meaningless, listen again. This song, I gotta say, reminds me of a personal tragedy. my mom, my only parent, died when i was 17 this past august. When she died of cancer, I was there the minute she died; i went nuts, i started screaming; "come back' over and over, I fuckin threw something at one of the nurses, then collapsed. I freaked out, for days, and months, i'd just fuckin scream for no reason, cry, break down in the middle of crowded places, and I didnt know why. I was always sensible. I think the song is about a loss so deep, and so painful that it makes you feel like you're insane, but you're not, and you're trying to justify it, you're just missing someone close to you....just lonely, not insane.

Green Day – Whatsername Lyrics 20 years ago
I MUST agree with bobbyjib, when I heard this song, I thought, "Hmm...this sounds familair" and I love the old U2 album, The Joshua Tree, so I honestly thought they re-made it, then I heard the lyrics, but the two songs sound alot alike.
This is probably my favorite song, ever. I love how the beat rises, and falls again through the song. The lyrics are amazing. About wanting to forget someone, having a heard, and painful time forgetting, and then in the end, it sounds sad, up until the last words, "Forgetting, YOU but not the time" then, it's the perfect ending.
