i think by jazzy he ment that it's syncopated if thats the right word. basically etid in general are known for there interesting and often changing time signatures like jazz was they kinda go off on their own thing making it hard to find a definite time signature. |

This will be a little vague but hopefully short and to the point. He's apparently talking about those who cause trouble and bring about disaster but do so in a way that we don't notice it or think they're doing wrong, like the wolf in the sheep's wool if i'm using that correctly. This is one of those songs that like many good songs is open for interpretation and i persoanlly agree with all of the one presented. Maybe I'm a little far off but you could say Conor is the Dylan of our generation although both are timeless, but i think you can catch my drift. But anyway the part that gripped me the most about this song was the instrumental at the end with the sketchy guitar in the back with the bass it was very simple but great at the same time. It caught me off guard. |

There are so many little details to clarify the message, but I think that basically he was just saying how there are so many fakes out there that sell their lies of saddness(and yes after time he knows he too has gotten away with it and he feels guilty) and we buy it, which makes me think the jury is us. We get consumed in ourselves along with fakes thinking our pain has given us so much wisdom and that we know what art and truth are. But we're just mediocore. The last verse he explain the one's who really know how it is, the ones who know the truth in music are the girl and boy, and those like them. He's saying this girl and boy really feel it everything the girl plays is so pure, true, and beautiful, that it makes her cry( kinda like juliek from Night). Anyway thats what i say and if you paid attention to what i wrote you'll find it all contradictory |
