I had to post this song. It really made me stop and listen the moment i heard it. I think its basically saying that its not over untill you die. It seems to suggest that though we may say we are lonely and lost beyond hope, really we have no idea how lucky we are [Loneliness Is more than we'll ever feel]. Do the 'walls' represent guidance and shelter from what life throws at you? The chorus is about not giving up, and living life to the fullest. |

I agree with MyIntoxication I guess sonny feels abit insecure with all these egotistical teens saying 'Sonny Moore is not hot, he is FUGLY' and thinking they are cool. Though I hope he doesnt give a shit, in which case this is probably about how life for teens nowadays is a srtuggle for attention by looking different. he could be refering to emo or scene people when he says: 'I refuse to leave the world without smearing on makeup, With my hair blinding my eyes' maybe? anyway yeah he refers to bulemia, and i think that either he is making the point that pressure to look good has gone too far, or refering to the fact that eating disorders are becoming fashionable (thinspiration etc) Anyway they are just a few ideas. i wana see some more poeples takes on this song. its really good... |

daysleeping, you really crack me up. you are really lame. some people are actually here to comment on song meanings, hence the name of the website douchebag. and people like turkishreno are entitled an opinion, but this isnt the right place your just wasting space with irrelevant crap. im not a big fan of fallout boy to be honest, but I like this song alot. it sounds quite alot like panic at the disco though... anyway, i think it is about how life is like once long dance. or maybe its about how people forget that you can just dance to music aswell as likeing/hating/analysing/criticising/worshipping it. |

| I totally agree with Mask. The countdown seems like a mad rush to finally get something done, maybe a new years resolution. The mirrors and hairdye seem to be an attempt to fit in by changing appearance. The 8 faces could be the people who criticise him. The locked windows idea seems to represent obstacles that prevent a person moving on. Only one is open, but it is 5 stories up. Perhaps suicide is the only option in the persons eyes. Also many suicides occur in bathrooms, and the cheers to the mirror could be the relief that the person finally feels, or how he thinks the critics will react to his death. My theory is kinda depressing, but its the imagery this song creates in my mind. Its one of those songs that really is like a work of art. | |

Yea i guess, as many have said before me, this song is full of cliches. But The Spill Canvas go about exploring feelings in their own unique way so i havent lost a single bit of respect for them. And who said cliches were a bad thing?? I think they are romantic. One thing that stood out for me is the title. 'Heartbreakers' always seem to be the popular, gorgeous, ocassionally bitchy and arrogant people that you find everywhere. People feel they have no chance with these supposedly 'better' people, so the crush tears them apart inside. This is why they are heartbreakers. Usually songs portray them as bad people, but TSC makes the point that they are usually worshipped by everyone around them anyway. Hence 'All Hail The Heartbreaker'. Well thats what I think anyway. |

This song is so poignant. It seems to make the point that with drinking- it can go two ways. You either have a fantastic time with all your friends, or you get really depressed and let your feelings show. |

| I have no idea what the meaning of this song is. I guess its still personal to the band, which is how it should be if you ask me. I am just SO impressed by FFTL. Bringing out music with a new sound is hard, and they have been getting alot of criticism for it (just look on their myspace). However, the song seems really deep compared to the older stuff, and shows that FFTL do not need to rely on great, catchy lyrics (note to self, etc.) to create an awesome track. I love it. | |

This song deals with the effects of cheating (no shit, i know), but no one else seems to see the lyrics in the same way as me. These lines: 'why did i laugh so hard baby? (you won't be back and i'm still laughing) i never meant to hurt you (but i did) i'm sorry that you cried so hard darling, i'll never hurt you again' seem to be HER apology to HIM, and the lines in brackets are what he imagines her to be thinking as she says them; that she doesnt care if he takes her back or not, that she is still mocking him, and that though it hurt him, she still cheated on him. I think that 'the best 30 seconds of my life' are when she apologises, because he finally gets the chance to hurt her by turning her away. Thats just how I see the lyrics in my head. Its a shame because the line 'Why did i laugh so hard baby?' on one of my favourite ever song lyrics, but it seems to be said by the cheating girl. |

I think that Matt is talking about a relationship in which he knew he wasnt loved as much as he should have been, but he felt tied down for whatever reason, in the same way that marriage ties you down. |
