Hmm...I'm pretty sure the first verse goes: For years we've fought the night With pale and ghostly flames But some still dream of light Say the sun will rise again (and then so on...) And overall, like the title suggest, I think the song is just about the life of a believer, and even though it's filled with hardships and struggle, we have peace in knowing that one day we'll be before our Creator and we'll be without sin. The last verse reminded me of Mosed and the Israelites wandering in the desert. I think Dustin is drawing a parallel between the Israelites constantly having their needs met by God, yet being disobedient to Him, and us as Christians going through the same process of obedience and disobedience. Good stuff though. I can't wait for an Ursus Veritas ep or even full length. |
