| "Polythene Girl" I believe is about a girl that sheids Grant from the pain that he might be feeling. Or at least keeps it at bay. When a person is in love, sometimes that feeling can override any other in a person. But although the girl may be helping Grant in that way, she is also becoming somewhat addictive as with this girl, Grant feels no pain. It's because of this reason he is feeling suffocated, and will probably never touch the sky. Great song definitely. Superb opener. | |
