| Dude, whenever i hear this song i picture a bunch of people standing on top of their houses screaming their oppinions out to everyone else at the top of their lugs. of course this happens while bombs are being dropped, destrying dozens of houses at a time. If you're gunna die, make sure what you know thats true is heard, even if everyone is too busy shouting their own stuff. mudno props to the lostprophets | |

| woowoo!! im the first entry!! anyway... i love this song, and TFK in general. but this song espically. i think it's about some guy who broke up with a girl and he's having second thoughts about it. he's thinking about helping her instead of just being angry. obvisouly their both hurt but only he wants to fix it. she wants no part and takes off, leaving him with a broken heart and concious. bummer. First of all, this song rocks!!!! :P yeah!!!! Anyway, this is what the song means to me, ill give you a line by line version. "comming out of my cage and i've been doin just fine" he hasn't been a relashionship in a while or he just hasn't been out of his house. maybe he's an agorophobe, who knows. "gotta, gotta be down because i want it all" no idea, ill just skip it. "It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this? it was only a kiss, it was only a kiss." Obvisouly he kissed someone. it sounds like he is regretting it now. i think he really loves this woman, but she either hangs out with a bunch of guy frineds or is seeing someone else "Now I’m falling asleep. And she’s calling a cab" He had fallen asleep or was gone for a while and she went away to be with her other boyfriend. "While he's having a smoke, and she's taking a drag" While she's at her other boyfriends house or hotel room or whatever their doing drugs and whatnot. "And now their going to bed, and my stomach is sick" Their quite ready to fuck eachother after getting all doped up. and he's immagining this from his house where he's wokenup and guessed where she's gone to. "But it's all in my head, but she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now, let me go" He can see all of this in his minds eye, seeing his girlfried screwing some other guy, it makes im very depressed. "I just can't look its killing me, and taking control" He hates the immiges hes concoting but he cant stop thinking aout it. and its tearing him up inside. "Jealsouy, turning saints into the sea, swimming through sick lullabies, choking on your alibis" Jealsouy is turning him into someone he dosen't like, somone very common (like a sea of people), also the swimming through sick lullabies, like bending down to that level and exposing himself to common dirty things. the alibis are what his girlfriend will try to tell him where she was, but he wont buy it because he could see her with some other guy in his mind. "but it's just the price i pay, destiny is calling me" He just has to grin and bear it, maybe for some higher reason.
