No interpretation to share, just that this is my favorite Big Japan song. It's amazing, they are amazing:) Oh yeah, and The "Get up??" is supposed to be "ditto" And I submitted corrections to the songs "Complex" and "Practical" cuz they were completely wrong and only half the song was there. |

Okay...first of all, you all need to let the GOD GUN conflict go. I am not going to say whether I support the God theory or the Gun theory, because I don't know for sure what they say either. Some sites say Gun, some say God...both make perfect sense. But I am not the band, and i did not write the song, so i am not going to say it is either. as far as the my space and live jornal and pete said....unless you see him typing it...how do you really know it is him? unless you know him personally and talk to him on the phone every day....you don't know the lyrics either. Maybe someone should go to the actual band's official site and ask the question on their official statement messageboard. then you will know. Second....The song's meaning is not as profound as you think it is. When I went to see them, both in Scranton, PA in Aug. and also in Pittsburgh in July...during the concert, write before the song , Pete said, and I quote "Ladies, where are you at? This song is for the ladies and it's about what your guys do when you're not around and they're thinking about you. Yeah, that's right, put it together". or at least something remarkableey similar to that. He said it both times. now , maybe it is about jealousy or whatever else, and maybe he was just joking around...i don't know, again , im not the band...but that is what was said, straight from the singers mouth...twice. Third....It is really sad that this song has 361 comments and almost all their other songs only have like 12 or 25....this is not just a good SONG by a band...This is a good BAND that wrote a song, and it just happened to make it to the top 10. Show some love people....this band is very talented, and have many other wonderful songs to offer...and not just from their new CD but from the old ones as well. Check out GRAND THEFT AUTUMN or DEAD ON ARRIVAL. those are some of my favs. I appologize for seeming like a ridonkulous bitch....didn't mean to, just my opinion, and i think that people should know and appreciate more about a band than one song. That doesn't go for everyone on this forum....some of you are obviously fans, and have been from the beginning, but i know some of you have no clue., and it's sad. Everyone should check out COHEED AND CAMBRIA's new CD! In stores SEPT. 20!!!! It rocks. |
