I love this song, I kinda figure it's about people who are stuck up in their own visual identity. Women and men who are obsessed over appearances particularly in the world of the famous. He talks about their lack of reality and how in their vanity they are crushing the real world.
"What you got is what gets me every time
The way you piss on everything real"
It's almost like despite anything we think about them, being kind or better than the rest.. they all get down to the same idea.

My favorite part of this song is the beggining."everybody says that their looking for a shelter, Got a lot to give, but I don't know how to help her" I'm not sure exactly. Bur Pez-Fx's illustration about the lyrics is great and I completely agree and couldnt have said it better. To me, its just one of those songs about idiots. It makes me smile. |

This is by far my favorite dimmu song. Maybe. Dimmu Borgir is my favorite band really, and so meh. In any case, this song makes me laugh, sometimes I think they all got did in by some girl... and then you might throw in some other way like he was rather enticed by the actual mere thought of darkness... But, Big woody above me here, explains the third idea the best.. with which he is just led on and on... she teases him endlessly... And just never lets him do what he intends to do. |

I'd have to say that most of their osngs are about the same thing. Call me Captain Obvious but, their all stupid gore fests with absolutely no meaning other than horrid thirst and hunger for murder and death. Have to wonder what the hell is wrong with them. If i knew who ever wrote this shit, I'd slap him upside the head. |
