This is for fender 2834. Stars is all about inspiration for a person. It can be very uplifting if you listen to it carefully. I think the line that most people find it difficult to interpret is "I see someone else". I think what this means is that when he "looks at the stars", he can see someone else within himself - meaning that he's changed in a good way - he's gone through positive metamorphosis. |

Wow - this is the first comment for this song - probably because it's not on any Switchfoot album. It was supposed to be on "The Beautiful Letdown", but it didn't get the cut.
The reason why I absolutely loce this song is that its lyrics are so meaningful - like all other Switchfoot songs. When I first listened to it - I was feeling down, and everyone word in this song applied to me. It gave me the strength and motivation to keep pressing on. I thank Switchfoot very much for that. |
