hmm, im guessing the same thing like river wolf, its about how the the is now and crying about it, breaking down and etc isnt going to get you any where because the time is now and there is no afterlife. its saying i guees that there is no jesus and dont be crying and waiting for him or waiting for him to answer your prares. i dont fully agree with these beliefs, thats just what i interpret from the song thanks for reading, hope it helped :) |

Wow Great Song, R.I.P. to "Beatz" the drummer of bayside, we love you dude!!! this song i think is very interpretible (is that even a word?) and im wondering why no one has posted but thats ok cause im here to change that lol :) overall i think this song is about a girl who either wanted to have sex with some to become more popular, want to have sex to lose her virginity or have sex with some popular guy to impress others. The guy either had sex with her just to have sex or what im leaning to is that maybe he thought he really had something with the girl but found out she just had sex with him for another reason besides love. I'm leaning towars that because he seems kiinda pissed because he says " Here you are, how’s the big time darling? I hope I helped make your dreams come true." kinda pissed of and being sarcastic. now i will interpret it line by line *im not writing the whole lyrics and refering it to the paragraphs to save room for others if ur wondering :)* 1st paragraph: (im thingking they are in bed and may just have had sex) (when they wake up they will understand the weight of there words and what their words to each other actually mean and them realizing the reason why their both there in bed having sex) 2nd paragraph: (saying that though they tried to get something out of having sex, the truth is that if one of them died tommorow that they really wouldnt care because they had no real feelings for eachother, even though in the lyrics it says both) 3rd paragraph: (saying that they both cant complain, he did really get sex and she really did get fame by others knowing that she got laid with him so its like they both used eachother and both got something they wanted out of eachother so the sex favored both of them, but even though she has fame by the new friends because of what happend, the so called new friend really dont know her, that can be said by them not knowing hew name) 4rth Paragraph: (hes being kinda sarcastic and nasty, ut he's also ashamed beccause he wanst her fist sex partner or her last sex partner, which both would be special, and at the same time, he's the first guy to admit that he really liked her or for a moment) 5th Paragraph (no one will say that he was used because he already has a repuation but at the same time she is now making a reputation for herself, so her getting laid with him is a notch on her belt of her popularity,,,,, he knows that he will tell lied to protect his reputation) hope i didnt take much room, thanks for reading an i hope it helps u figire something out about this wonderful song :) rock on bayside!!!!!!!!!1 |

I know i thought other people would have commented before us lol i think its about a guy who is tempted by a nymph or mayby even a succubus. she is insisting to have sex with thew man. obviuslly her temtation is too strong and he gives in the the temptation. while have sex with her, he is then turned into a beast who now wants more sex and probally gives in to his carnal desires. in the first verse one part of him wants her (I want her on her knees) but one part of him is trying to resist(I am hot and can't resist). so he is being tempted and he then gives in because he cannot resist her temtation any more. while having sex with her, he is then turned into a beast. "Each tendon muscle rippling She drink my sove with greed" i think that line is about oral sex as the sove would be the sprem in that case. she wants more and more. in the end where is says "She is hot and drives me wild and still she is open wide" she is open wide meaning that her genitalia are open wide but it can also mean that she is always open to sex (sounds like a nyph to me) "Just when this torture seems to end She is there to drain my sove again [Come on ride, to ride on me bitch]" He says "come on ride, ride on me bitch" which shows that he is now a beast and will insist on having sex without second thoughts. well this is how i interpret it and i anyone needs help with definitions of the words i used, u can go to the dictionary online or email me thanks you |

I'm pretty sure i have this song down!!!! when he says "Am I more than you bargained for yet? I’ve been dying to tell you anything you want to hear 'cause that’s just who I am this week" i think that this guy was going out with a girl but they broke up, but he still wants her, he's more than she's bargened for because even though she dumped him he's not giving up. he's willing to tell here anything she wants to hear to get her back. "Lie in the grass next to the mausoleum" shows that he is sad "I’m just a notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song" he's a notch in her bed post because he's just another boy she has had sex with but she's just a line in a song he made about her because he feels bad. "We’re going down, down in an earlier round and Sugar, we’re going down swinging I’ll be your number one with a bullet A loaded god complex, cock it and pull it" she has a new boyfriend and he's going to fight him and they are going down swinging as in fist fighting, he even would shoot him because he's so angry (mayby not literally). "Is this more than you bargained for yet?" reminding her that she'd would never think he would do this "Oh don't mind me I'm watching you two from the closet wishing to be the friction in your jeans" he's watching her and her new boyfriend (not literally from the closet but when he see's them) and he wishes to be the friction in her jeans could mean something sexual. "Isn’t it messed up how I’m just dying to be him?" he's trying to be like her new boyfriend to get her back "Drop a heart, break a name" broke his heart, he cant call her, the pet names he would usually call her for "We’re always sleeping in, sleeping for the wrong team" im not sure but i could mean that they sleep with other people but they are sleeping with the wrong people refering to wrong team. i hope my translation wasnt too far fetched but that was how i interpreted it. and for josh i think "friction in your jeans" could refer to some thing sexual but im not sure thanks for reading and peace!!! |

And for "OldskoolrockerJTS" this site isnt for arguing and trying to get people to listen to bands you like or "educate people on bands", its about song meanings and how you interpret the songs. hey i like hawthorne heights and i think there a great band but at the same time i listen to iron maiden and ozzy and even cradle of filth jus remember to respect different kinds of music even though they are different peace |

I think i know what this song is about I think this song is about the feeling of smoking or/and getting high. I know that Travis Barker smokes weed but im not sure about the others. first: "I take my last breath It's like I'm dead inside It's like I'm past it It's what I can't describe" im guesing breathing in the weed and almost feeling dead inside and when he says " It's like I'm past it" its like some people smoke to get passed hard times or feelings, and when he says "Its what i can't describe" its like the feeling of getting high is a feeling like no other, like something you can't describe but only feel. then "You said money can't buy me love and that's true But money can buy me drugs so that's cool" well that obvious then "Cause everyone's victim And everyone's a target And everyone's an enemy The reason that I spark it" because of all of these things and problems about everys one, its the reason why he sparks it and i think when he says that he means lighting his weed. "Got yer son smoked out in the hood buying guns" again "smoked" I'm not sure about "puffin on the silver black guerrilla" but it might be sum snoking thing or slang, i dont know. I'm not sure if this is what the song is about, hey it might be completely different, i really dont know but no matter what this song kicks ass and is awsome!!! sorry if this is a wrong interpritation but it was mine :) i dont smoke so im not sure if every things correct, Rock on Transplants!!! |
