Cool, never knew that, but it makes sense. Brilliant song though, one of my favourites. The chorus is full of the sensation of pending victory over a long-time oppressor. |

I don't think ALL Beatles songs are references to drugs, far from it, but this one surely invokes images of dimmed sitting rooms, chilled tunes and the sound of the bong being passed around? The sound, incidentally, appears to me to be an inhilation rather than a sigh which is usually an exhalation isn't it? |
