I think that this song is about struggling with an eating disorder. "Bleeding" is an analogy for starving yourself, because as she bleeds she "breathes no more" like you do when you starve yourself. In the beginning she is talking about how the anorexia has broken her into so many pieces and when she tries to put herself back together she can't. In the second verse I think she is describing how everyone describes her as just being sick and having a disorder and people tell her it makes no sense but then she tells them, "I know the difference between myself and my reflection but which one of us do you love?" because she knows what she is doing. |
