| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Funky Monks Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think they missed something in there. Anyway I love this song. And ya it's about being on the road, going place to place, having sex w/ all different people. And so they're saying they don't feel guilty about it. and.. I guess they shouldn't. | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Get On Top Lyrics | 20 years ago |

HMmm. I converted, so to speak, really from dosed to Funky Monks. But The red Hot Chili Peppers are not a POP band. THey've become more so than they used to be. However they've been able to keep up w/ media. They've reinvented their music alot. And that's what's so great about them is that their music isn't all the same. It's a big risk bands take by changing their music, but the chili peppers do it alot and all of their songs are incredible. What I mean by They're not a pop band is that you can't classify them. Besides they're working on a more aggressive album right now. Oh and I can agree with Relinquo1. What I notice in alot of The chili pepper's songs. They call themselves mentally ill. Like in this one "malinger" I had to look this up meaning -To feign illness or other incapacity in order to avoid duty or work. But in the by the way songs not as much b/c then there was whoever that girl is. A designer? |

| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Right on Time Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I"m sorry but when I thonk of "Right on time" it sort of reminds me of you know, your period. It'scheduled. Or maybe it's about birth. (S)he's right on time. But Anthony Kiedis has mentioned woman's blood before, like in that song, ummm "Purple Stain". The lyrics are "Your monthly blood is what I win". What do you think a purple stain is? I'm just sazying it might have something, SOMETHINg to do with period. PS: It's my interpretation. |

| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Soul to Squeeze Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Anyway RockinRose when people get hit in the head real hard, sometimes they bleed from their brain and that's what causes concussions. But he wasn't singing about concussions. I love this song, especially the bridge. I've felt mentally impaired too, though. 'Beautifull Song' ! | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Back in Black (AC/DC cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| 2me this song is like a parody to "Back in Black". But it's probably not. But it could. anyway I'm just responding b/c there's no responses. okay | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Save the Population Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
It's not about sex. Excuse me but the population doesn't need saving (in that point) with all of these ppl in the world "gettin' it on". Ur only allowed to have 2 kids in China. Anyway He was talking about reaching a verdict. I love when he sings "I threw my pistol in the ocean". But what does it mean? Hey maybe it is about reproducing but they wouldn't have courts in the end of the world. But he probably threw his pistol in the ocean b/c he didn't need it anymore. He lays his cards upon the table. He realixes something, calls it quits and then reports it, tries to stop it--- to save the population. "I put my cards upon the table I do this because I am able One picks his broken down devotion I threw my pistol in the ocean Eyes wide with revelation Shine at the police station And when the verdict comes round I'm sure that you will go down" Then he goes on to say "A pistol and its pawn Blood and border lines be drawn" meaning he's going to take action. Okay well that's just my interpretation. |

| Red Hot Chili Peppers – My Friends Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Oh ya and I do think that that little girl has alot to do w/ it. | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – My Friends Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Ya there is a lyrical symilarity between Knock me down and this song. Some parts. Other songs too though of their's have lyrical symalarities. Like funky monks has a symalaritie w/ another song. (simialarity?). I forget which and what parts but it's pretty much tied. -- Anyway when you're forced to be alone your forced to find YOURSELF. It's then that you realize you don't know yourself. "When you don't know yourself". Hence. And it's hard. No one else really can find you. You know? This is just my interpretation. | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – By the Way Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
It's obviously about a bad experience that he had, or a good experience. I think it's something only the band (or sum1 (very) close 2 band) could relate to. I love all RHCP songs, |
