I hate to be annoying, but I have the CD, so I have the actual lyrics. There are a few mistakes: it's "is there someway it can pass ON by" not 'EM; it's "You said you might regret it/But we should just forget it/You ended saying there was someone new" not what is written above; it's "I hate to admit but I know it's true" not "It's so hard to believe it"; |

| Dana Glover – Rain Lyrics

I get the feeling from this song that Rain was going to jump off a ledge to end her pain. She was at the ends of her ropes, and she couldn't deal with the pain of being ignored any longer. Thankfully, in the song, she seems to have changed her mind, as "a peace replaced her pain." She realized she's never alone, as she always has God with her, to care about her. What's sad is that this is not a rare situation. People will take in children as foster "parents" only for the money, then ignore them, or worse, abuse them. I know too many people who hurt too much to go one, and they have attempted to take their lives on many occasions. If you want to read a really good book about children who are placed in one foster home after another only to be ignored and abused, read THEY CAGE THE ANIMALS AT NIGHT. Despite how sad it is, it's got a great ending! |

| Dana Glover – Falling Into Love Lyrics

First, I'd like to just fix a few mistakes if no one minds: It's "be still my SOUL" not SONG; it's "it feels like I'm falling into LOVE" not lullaby; it's "I can't believe that its real" without the LIFE.
Okay. I think this song describes perfectly a crush, maybe not love, but who am I to say? I love the line "why do I smile when there's no one else around?" It seems like a typical crush. Someone who makes you that giddy and happy is sure to have such an affect on you. |

Love this song! It turned me on to Dana Glover. Obviously it is about a woman who is trying to decide whether or not to marry someone she obviously loves. She seems to want to get married, too, as "it's the season," which can mean she at an age where she's expected to be married; she has come to a point in her life where she wants to be married; or it's a time when everyone is getting married.
But I will say that my favorite thing about this song, putting aside that it's just a wonderful song, is that she isn't relying on herself to make this choice. She is relying on God. She knows that she loves this man, but she knows she cannot see everything. She takes marriage and love seriously. She doesn't want to rush into something. Relying on her heart would be dangerous. This is very wise, especially when in love, for you "cannot clearly see" through your love. |
