^ agrees. another part of me wants to say that i want vampires. blood. and awesome videos. but ehh, theyre maturing as a band, maybe the other tracks on the album might be a whole lot better than this.
idunno tho about the meaning. i guess grabbing the bull by its horn means that in order to do something, you have to tackle the hard part first and then doing everything else after that. but in this case, maybe alex felt like he did the hardest part and then he has no idea about what to do next. and then the becoming the bull part is i think about not letting people stop you from doing what you want (well bulls are like that) but thats all im getting =/ and im 85% sure that i could be wrong |

i dont know why, but this song reminds me of Chuck Palahniuk's survivor. this line "our fathers plant arms in foreign soil" reminds me of how the main character in the book is sent to outside of the church district so they can make heaven on earth, that is IMO connected to this line "we've been waiting to receive the promised land. we can wait no more, we must stand make the promised land" but thats just my opinion. |

I read somewhere that thins song is about ex-band member, but i could be wrong. I think this is FOB asking to the ex members, did they join fob for the music or the misery (i think it's about fame, etc etc) and maybe its about being hated by people just because they're fob. "I got your love letters, corrected the grammar and sent them back" maybe it's about people in the media saying things about them and they need to correct everything cause what the people are writing isnt true. But I could be wrong. |

Yeah. Agrees with Lauren88. I think he tried to get over this girl who cheated on him by screwing some girl he met at a concert? maybe? hence the lyrics "I comb the crowd and pick you out" and I think that he is saying that conscience never do him any good. "what did it ever do for me? I say" Because of his conscience, he left the girl that truly loves him because he thinks that it is wrong to screw a girl just to get over someone. In the 2nd verse I think he's saying that she's just a tear catcher, and that's all. The last verse "To the “love” I left my conscience pressed/Through the keyhole I watched you dress", I think he is saying to his ex-gf that he doesnt care about whats right and wrong anymore (maybe he wants revenge, even tho it's wrong) |

I think this is about a guy in a relationship with this girl. But this guy had no idea about what was really going on (I wish I new where I came from I wish I knew where I'd been)
