This is an amazing song! It has to be one of the sweetest and sickest songs lyrically on the album. This song and Getting Away With Murder definitely have a really evil, sick feel to them. I'm not really too sure what this song is about although I think it might be something to do with politics...he's "awake under the blanket of fear" but everyone else is asleep. Just a thought... |

The first time I heard this song I thought it was about a bad relationship in which the girl was making him feel down. But looking at the lyrics again I think in this song Papa Roach have personified alcohol and the song's about the hold alcohol had over Coby's life etc. It's clever how they do it I think a lot of bands do it in their songs. All of the lyrics seem to fit this theme especially the chorus. |
