mojo pin dumbass... how can u compare machina with sd... the first doesn't have head nor feet. Machina was the dead and the funeral of the [glorius] SP. A tired BC, a tired band, and that was the result. SD is a groovy album, very grunge, quite powerful, as gish was at its time... The highest point of Sp is of course, MCIS... then came Adore, who stared to accuse the signs of the burning out process i mentioned before... an underrated album, indeed, but those were hard days for billy (the dead of her mother, Martha, Chamberlin's lost, etc, and that impacted the album somehow. I love Adore, but there are songs there that u just can't undestand)...
Let's hope that the mighty pumpkins will be reunited soon and that all of us will be able to hear again the best lyrics and music again... Peace |

This is like one of those poems where you vaguely know what it's about, but can't quite explain it. It has something to do with this feeling that love is constantly being perverted. You're constantly asking yourself what true love really is. I've been with women and I thought I found my true love and it's turned out to be the worst, most hurtful thing. You think, is that true love? I've been with woman who are completely devoted and would lie across a railroad track for me, and I think this is kind of boring. So what is true love anyway? Somehow the words and the images in "TheCameraEye" communicate that to me. |
